If you’re in the market for a challenging technical position that still gives you a chance to stretch your creativity, then you should consider a career as a software engineer. A typical software engineer makes an annual salary of $72,000. In order to be qualified for this position, aim to get a B.S. in Computer Science. Also, it’ll be helpful to have a strong background in mathematics.
2. Business Analyst
If you’re more interested in businesses and how they work, then you may want to consider studying to be a business analyst. A business analyst assists companies by helping them to efficiently use their resources while increasing profit and productivity. A typical business analyst can look at making about $69,500 each year. Interested? Get your B.S. in Computer Science or a related field. Also, a background in IT will look good on your resume.
3. Registered Nurse
If you’re more of a people person and want to give back to the community, then nursing might be the right field for you. Typically, a registered nurse makes an annual salary of $61,000. Not only will you get good, steady pay, but you’ll have the chance to connect with your patients on a personal level. If this sounds good, then work towards getting your B.S. in Nursing.
